The mounting stays deliberately slim beneath a larger stone here, this oval shape semi-mount engagement ring holding its seat open for a diamond of 1.65 Ctw to 2.35 Ctw. Along the shoulders, 12 round cut diamonds are prong set in a sparing line that leaves the two metals of the band clearly visible. Every stone is open on each side, letting light pass through cleanly. Using the same band across two center ranges is a practical decision as much as a design one, letting the stone determine the scale rather than the mounting. One band across two ranges keeps the choice with the buyer rather than the design. Crafted in 14 karat yellow and white gold, the white gold finished in rhodium, the ring closes with a total weight of 1/20 Ctw.
