Sized for a larger round brilliant, this semi-mount halo engagement ring leaves its center seat open for a stone of 3.65 Ctw to 4.50 Ctw. Through the mounting, 53 round cut diamonds are prong set, forming a close halo around the center and then descending the shoulders in a graduated run. Because every stone is held open on all sides, brilliance enters from beneath as well as above and the frame reads as a continuous ring of light. Yellow gold shows through the halo faintly, which gives the frame a warmth that white metal does not, and for many wearers that warmth is exactly what makes a traditional design feel personal rather than inherited. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat yellow gold with a warm polish throughout, the ring closes with a total weight of 3/4 Ctw.
