Through the mounting, 56 round cut diamonds are prong set, building a square frame around the center and then descending the shoulders in a graduated run. Every stone is held open on its sides, letting light enter from below as well as above and keeping the halo lively at close scale. Scaling a square halo well depends on keeping the corner stones in line with the center’s own corners, a detail easily missed and immediately obvious when it is wrong.
