Pear Shape Semi-Mount Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Proportioned for a slightly larger pear, this semi-mount halo engagement ring keeps its center seat open for a stone of 1.65 Ctw to 2.35 Ctw. Through the mounting, 50 round cut diamonds are prong set, following the rounded shoulders of the outline and narrowing toward the point before continuing into the band. Because every stone sits in open prongs, the halo holds its brightness at the tip where a heavier setting would dull it. Carrying the halo cleanly around the point is the hardest part of setting a pear, and it is also the first thing the eye checks, which makes the execution here worth a closer look than the shape usually invites. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat rose gold, whose warmth carries through the whole design, the ring is finished with a total weight of 1/2 Ctw.
