The pear carries an asymmetry no other cut quite matches, rounded at one end and decisive at the other. This semi-mount halo engagement ring follows that outline closely, its center seat prepared for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw and surrounded by 47 round cut diamonds in prong settings that trace the teardrop shape and gather at the point before running into the shoulders. The open metalwork keeps every stone clear on all sides. The frame narrows as it approaches the point, which lengthens the stone rather than widening it, and that is exactly what a pear center wants from the setting around it. Crafted in 14 karat white gold and given a rhodium finish for a clean, even tone, the ring is completed with a total weight of 1/2 Ctw.
