This semi-mount engagement ring is proportioned with that in mind, its seat open for a stone of 3.65 Ctw to 4.50 Ctw and its shoulders carrying 25 round cut diamonds in prong settings that narrow toward the back. The open metalwork leaves each stone clear on all sides. The narrowing of the shoulders keeps the visual weight forward where the center will sit, so the band never looks uniformly heavy around the whole of the finger. Good proportion here is quiet work, noticed only when it is absent. Crafted in 14 karat white gold with a rhodium finish for even brightness, it is finished with a total weight of 1/6 Ctw.
