Marquise Shape Semi-Mount Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
A halo in yellow gold reads warmer than the same frame in white, the metal showing faintly between the stones and softening the whole setting. This marquise shape semi-mount halo engagement ring uses that to temper a pointed center, its seat left open for a stone of 1.65 Ctw to 2.35 Ctw. Through the mounting, 56 round cut diamonds are prong set, following the elongated outline and then tapering into the shoulders. Each sits in open metalwork that lets light in from every side. Marquise centers can look severe in the wrong mounting, and the fine ring of stones here does the opposite, easing the transition from the sharp outline into plain metal. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat yellow gold, the ring is completed with a total weight of 1/2 Ctw.
