Through the mounting, 58 round cut diamonds are prong set, tracing the elongated silhouette in a close halo and then running into the shoulders in a narrowing line. The open metalwork lets brilliance reach each stone from beneath as well as above. A center at this size needs a frame confident enough to balance it, and the halo here is drawn with that in mind, wide enough to register clearly without ever overwhelming the stone it surrounds. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat yellow gold, whose warmth carries through the entire composition, the ring closes with a total weight of 3/4 Ctw.
