Set into the shank, 6 straight baguette diamonds carrying weight 1/5 Ctw lie flush with the metal so the profile stays smooth against the finger. Above them, 14 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/10 Ctw are prong set with open metalwork that leaves each stone clear on every side. Marquise centers can look severe in the wrong setting, and the fine line of side stones here does the opposite, softening the approach to the point rather than emphasizing it. The result stays elegant rather than sharp. Crafted in 14 karat white gold and given a rhodium finish for an even, reflective surface, the ring is completed with a total weight of 1/4 Ctw.
