Emerald Shape Semi-Mount Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Yellow gold fills the open planes of an emerald cut setting in a way cooler metals never quite do, and this semi-mount halo engagement ring is built on that idea, its center seat sized for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw. Across the mounting, 47 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/2 Ctw are prong set, framing the rectangular center before continuing down the shoulders in a tapering line. Every stone is held open on all sides so brilliance passes through freely. The halo does much of the visual work at this center range, extending the presence of a modest stone well beyond its measurements without ever looking like compensation for it. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat yellow gold, whose warmth carries through the whole setting, the ring is finished with a total weight of 1/2 Ctw.
