Emerald Shape Semi-Mount Diamond Engagement Ring

A rope-twisted band gives this emerald shape semi-mount engagement ring a texture that plain metal cannot, the twist catching light along its length as the hand moves. The center seat is left open for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw, with 12 round cut diamonds prong set along the shoulders in a fine, sparing line. Each stone is held open on all sides so brilliance enters directly rather than glancing off the mounting. Texture in the metal is an alternative to more stones, adding interest along the band without raising its profile or crowding the center that will sit above it. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat rose and white gold, it is finished with a total weight of 1/20 Ctw.
