The simplest letter of all leaves nowhere to hide, which makes the setting everything. This initial pendant runs 10 round cut diamonds in prong settings straight down the stem of the I and across its serifs, so the whole form resolves into a single upright line of light. Each stone is left open on every side, letting brilliance enter directly and giving the slender shape real luminosity at a small scale. Crafted in 14 karat yellow gold, the warm metal frames the line with quiet precision. A letter this narrow needs the chain to do part of the work, and the fine gauge here keeps the proportions right rather than overwhelming the pendant. It hangs from a cable chain 1.00 MM in 18 inches with a lobster lock and extenders at 16″ & 17″, and closes with a total weight of 1/5 Ctw.
