Granulated goldwork frames these earrings from the Bead Bijoux Collection, its fine beading catching light along every edge. At the center of each piece, a pear shape blue topaz measuring 6X4 MM is prong set with its point angled upward, the semi-precious gemstone reading cool and transparent against the textured warmth around it. A total of 2 round cut diamonds are bezel set across both earrings at the top of the design, each contained in a smooth metal rim that offers a clean flash of white above the color. Worked in 10 karat yellow gold, the contrast between polished bezels and beaded surface gives the pair real tactile interest. Beading and polish work against one another throughout the design, one absorbing light where the other returns it, giving the pair depth at a very small scale.
