Round Shape Semi-Mount Diamond Engagement Ring

Restraint is the point of this round shape semi-mount engagement ring, its open center setting drawn for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw. Flush set into the band, 6 straight baguette diamonds carrying weight 1/5 Ctw rest level with the metal, their long facets carrying a smooth, contained light. Above them, 8 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/20 Ctw are prong set in a sparing line that leaves plenty of clean metal between stones. Spacing stones more widely changes the character of a band entirely, letting the metal show between them so the ring reads as considered rather than covered. Not every design benefits from density, and this one is better for the restraint. Crafted in 14 karat white gold and given a rhodium finish for a bright, even surface, the ring is completed with a total weight of 1/4 Ctw.
