Across the shoulders and gallery, 20 round cut diamonds are prong set in measured succession, the placement leading inward toward the space still to be filled. The open settings keep each stone exposed to light on every side so nothing reads flat. Restraint here is a decision rather than an omission. Protecting the corners of a square center is as much a structural question as an aesthetic one, and the proportions of the seat here are drawn with exactly that in mind. Crafted in 14 karat white gold with a rhodium finish for a reflective surface, it is completed with a total weight of 1/8 Ctw.
