Proportioned for a generous square center, this two-tone princess shape semi-mount engagement ring holds its seat open for a stone of 4.50 Ctw to 5.50 Ctw. Through the shoulders and gallery, 24 round cut diamonds are prong set in close succession so the band carries enough brilliance to balance the stone above it. Each sits in open prongs that let light enter from beneath as well as above. Scaling a mounting with its center rather than simply offering the same band at several sizes is what keeps a family of rings coherent from the smallest to the largest. Yellow and white gold are combined across the 14 karat construction, the white gold given a rhodium finish, and the ring is completed with a total weight of 1/6 Ctw.
