Square corners give the princess cut its clarity, and this semi-mount engagement ring frames that geometry at an easily worn scale, the center seat sized for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw. Flush set into the band, 6 straight baguette diamonds carrying weight 1/5 Ctw rest level with the metal so nothing interrupts the line. Above them, 12 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/20 Ctw are prong set in fine succession along the shoulders. Sizing the mounting to the stone rather than the other way around is what keeps a ring in proportion, and this one is drawn for a center at the smaller end of the range without ever looking sparse. Every element is scaled to match. Crafted in 14 karat rose and white gold with a rhodium finish over the white gold, it is finished with a total weight of 1/4 Ctw.
