This princess shape semi-mount engagement ring keeps its architecture deliberately spare, the open center setting proportioned for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw. Set into the band, 6 straight baguette diamonds carrying weight 1/5 Ctw sit flush with the metal, their edges drawing a clean, uninterrupted line along the profile. Above that, 12 round cut diamonds carrying weight 1/20 Ctw are prong set in delicate succession, each raised just enough to catch movement. The architecture here is intentionally quiet, built to support a center stone rather than to compete with it, which is what a semi-mount should do. The decision that completes it belongs to the wearer. Crafted in 14 karat white gold and finished with rhodium for a bright, even surface, it is finished with a total weight of 1/4 Ctw.
