This emerald shape semi-mount engagement ring is drawn for a center of 1.65 Ctw to 2.35 Ctw, with 14 round cut diamonds prong set along the shoulders to supply the movement the center will not. Every stone is left open on all sides so light enters freely. Increasing the count alongside the center range keeps the band in proportion rather than leaving it looking thin beneath a stone with more presence above it. Proportion across a range is harder to hold than it looks. Crafted in 14 karat white gold with a rhodium finish for a clean, reflective tone, it closes with a total weight of 1/10 Ctw.
