Through the shoulders and gallery, 24 round cut diamonds are prong set in close succession so the band carries brilliance in proportion with the stone it will hold. Each sits in open metalwork that lets light pass through from every side. Two-tone construction gives a jeweler room to adjust the temperature of the finished ring, letting warmth or clarity lead depending on which metal is allowed to dominate. Flexibility of that kind is worth more than a fixed house style.
