Built for a pear of real presence, this semi-mount engagement ring keeps its center open for a stone of 4.50 Ctw to 5.50 Ctw. Through the shoulders and gallery, 26 round cut diamonds are prong set in close succession, extending the run of brilliance far enough that a large center never looks isolated at the top of the band. The open settings keep every stone exposed to light on all sides. A large pear leaves little room for error in the mounting, since the stone will draw every eye and anything awkward beneath it becomes obvious immediately. Confidence in a mounting comes from knowing what to leave out. Crafted in 14 karat yellow and white gold, the white gold finished in rhodium, the ring arrives with a total weight of 1/6 Ctw.
