Warm metal against a square center has come back into favor, and the halo here bridges the two, softening hard geometry with a continuous ring of small stones before the gold takes over. The center seat of this princess shape semi-mount halo engagement ring is drawn for a stone of 0.85 Ctw to 1.20 Ctw, with 48 round cut diamonds prong set around it and along the shoulders. Each stone stays open on every side so light enters directly. At this center range the ring stays comfortably wearable rather than ceremonial, and the halo keeps it from reading as modest, giving a smaller square center the presence of a considerably larger stone. Crafted in rhodium finish 14 karat yellow gold, the ring is finished with a total weight of 1/2 Ctw.
